Ing. Kwesi Andrews Ansu-TutuCivil Engineer and Procurement Specialist
Kwasi Andrews Ansu-Tutu has over twenty-one (21) years post qualification experience in Civil Engineering and twelve (12) years’ experience in Procurement after being trained by the World Bank in 1998.
He possesses a good balance in Planning, Design, Construction Management and civil works Maintenance expertise. He has extensive experience in Project Management, Procurement/Contract Management and Environmental & Waste Management.
Key projects he has been involved in over the years include:
- Procurement Issues from procurement planning, Bidding process to Contracts Close outs for several Engineering Projects for the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) which is implementing the Ghana Compact. (2008-To-date)
- Assisted and advised about 46 District Assemblies (DA) in Ghana in the execution and auditing of procurement.
- Facilitation and conduct of training workshops for DA staff in Ashanti & Brong Ahafo Regions in Public Procurement Act 663 of 2003. (2 years)
- Procurement of Civil Works, Goods and Services in accordance with Guidelines: Procurement under IDA Credits and Loans. (7years)
- Contract Management and Supervision of consultants and contractors under IDA/KfW/IFAD donor funded projects. (7years)
- Training of DA staff in Central & Western Regions in Procurement of Civil Works, Goods and Services as defined in Guidelines: Procurement under IDA Credits and Loans. (5years).
- Preparation of annual procurement plans and periodic reports to GoG and WB.
