Francis Baffoe-AshunPhysicist, Instrumentation and Procurement Specialist
Francis Baffoe-Ashun holds a BSc. (Hons.) Physics and M.Phil. (Physics) from the University of Ghana, Legon.
He has varied experience in scientific instrument calibration, needs assessment and analysis, preparation of technical specifications of laboratory and field equipment, and vehicles, and technical evaluation of bids.
He has worked as instrumentation officer with the CSIR Scientific Instrumentation Center, and as Head of the Calibration Laboratory and Electronic/Electrical Workshop.
He has served on many National Technical Committees. He has also traveled extensively, participating in general conferences and workshops, both locally and internationally in such areas as metrology, science and technology.
He has provided technical consultancy services in procurement to many donor-assisted projects.
